With November upon us and the cold weather setting in, it’s time to prep your medicine cabinet with all of your medication requirements for the upcoming cold and flu season. Sort through the medicine cabinet and make sure medications are not expired and that you have enough of what you need to keep you going through the season. Don’t forget to check on your supply of hand sanitizer, too!
The other thing related to your medicine cabinet is to sort and declutter your masks. With cold and flu season, COVID is likely to spike again, too. No matter what kind of virus you have, it’s probably a good idea to get some masks ready for the winter. Make sure the masks fit and are in good condition. Get rid of any that are broken. Get rid of any that have become misshapen in the wash. Get rid of any that the kids have outgrown. Put some masks into your purse, in your car, by the front door, and even in the kid’s backpacks.
Make sure you have whatever home remedies you love. I love mint tea, a microwaveable hot pack of some kind, and the Emergen-C brand vitamin C boosting powder. I also stock some simple, easy to make soups for those easy to make meals when whoever is sick doesn’t really want to eat.
