Sometimes, the most functional fix, ain’t the most pretty one!

This is my christmas light put-er up-er stick! It’s a super fancy lacrosse stick and two tent pegs all tied up with a beautiful blue elastic cording! Like I said, functional does not always equate to pretty! Whatever gets the job done, right!?

The great thing about this super-uber-amazing christmas light put-er up-er stick is that I don’t need to use a ladder! I do have a straight low roof line, which also helps. I can literally reach up with the christmas light line between the tent pegs and hook it onto my little gutter hooks (which do stay up all year to make things easier!)

And…Voila!

In a matter of about 10 minutes, I have two strings of christmas lights up. Even my neighbours are surprised by how quickly I get the job done!

I also love getting the lights up when the weather is better! I hate fighting frozen fingers!
