The simplest question to ask yourself to abolish your clutter today!

There are so many checklists with great questions to ask yourself as you’re going through your clutter. Questions like, “have you used it in the last 6 months or plan to use it in the next 6 months.

Questions are great at keeping you focused on getting rid of your clutter. Even questions like, “does it spark joy?”

The problem that I have with a lot of these questions is that there’s still a lot of grey area! There’s a lot of, “it depends…”

It’s just a slippery slope of keeping stuff!

Sometimes, you reach a point with your clutter that you know it needs to be gone! But these questions hold you back from getting really ruthless with your stuff.

The question that is resonating more with me these days?

Would I be excited to buy it again today??

If the answer isn’t a, “heck ya!” Then I likely don’t need it now!

This question can help simplify the thinking.

Think about your closet! How many pieces of clothing would you buy right now from your closet? A couple, maybe?

Think about your kitchen and all the gadgets in there? What if they were on sale? Would you be thrilled about pulling out that credit card?

Think about anything and everything in your home…

Would you be excited to buy the item again today?

If it’s not a resounding, ‘Yes!!’ Get rid of it! Open your life up for potential greatness.

It’s time!

Thanks for coming home!
