This tea drawer had things in it that were there simply for extra storage. But those extra things were definitely getting in the way of function! They have no need being in this prime real estate spot!
It’s still not a beautiful space, but it’s functional! Being able to grab the flavour without moving things around or use the loose leaf tea easily without digging for the holder makes such a big difference! It means enjoying having a cup of tea or hot chocolate instead of opening the drawer, looking at the chaos, then saying to yourself, “Never mind! That’s too much work!”
The whole idea of decluttering is to highlight the stuff that you actually want to prioritize using. Get rid of the extras, get rid of the space consumers, and make it easy to use the stuff you do want to use!
It was a smaller project, but still, each little bit makes a huge difference!
Make the process the priority, and the results will follow!
Now, onto my next project!
This part of the kitchen counter keeps getting non kitchen stuff in it! It’s time to reclaim it as kitchen space! I need to get back to my smoothies!!
