Can you believe it’s almost June? The end of the school year is coming up so fast that it’s giving me palpitations. Not because I don’t want the kids around, but because I want to maximize the fun we can have and the things we can do. I want to have a good routine so that we don’t end up with sooooo much time being bored!
Our goal this summer is family fitness! If we work out together, then we can respect just how strong we each are in our own way!
Start thinking and talking about summer plans and goals with the kids. Make sure they have a say in how they want to spend their time, especially as they get older.
Come up with some goals to help you get ready for those long summer days!
Get the house ready, get some meal plans going, and get the family ready for a great summer!
If your kids are younger, come up with some rainy day crafts or activities to fill the time. If your kids are older, set some screen time limits so they don’t waste away all the days.
AND, no matter what age anyone is, get outside this summer!
