Declutter the spaces that have things you are excited to access!

What I mean by this is take the time to declutter the areas that you are just biting at the bit to use this summer. If your roller blades are in a box in the rafters, get them down, declutter the box, and get those blades on! If your bike is tucked away out in a shed, get out there, declutter the space, and hop on your bike for a ride! If your camping stuff has a bunch of stuff in the way of accessing it, declutter that area so that you can hit up a camp site whenever the urge strikes!

What a fantastic and exciting reward waiting for you at the end of your hard decluttering work! You are already excited about the end game. You just have to make it easier to actually use the thing you can’t wait to use. When there is stuff in the way of you doing to the things you love or accessing the things you love, you can get stuck in a negative rut of feeling miserable and helpless. Get out of your own way and get decluttering so that you can use the things you love with ease and enjoyment!

Even if it’s a certain craft that you want to do, a car you want to work on, a workshop you want better access to, or a garden you want to tend. Get to work on it so that those long summer nights can be put to good use – doing the things you actually want to do.

Spend the summer recharging!!

When you feel that joy in the things you are doing, your life batteries actually get recharged, and you feel ready to take on more of the mundane household grind tasks. Especially when the areas that you store those things you love, make it easy to use those things you love!!

Find your natural rewards, whatever they are! Make the spaces clutter free. Make the spaces somewhere you want to be so that you can spend more time doing the things you love this summer!

Thanks for coming home!
