The top 10 daily decluttering challenge

Are you looking for a good summer challenge for decluttering a few things from your home? Look no further!!

I give you my top 10 items to get rid of TODAY to jump start some summer decluttering.

  1. A book
  2. A kids toy (1 per number of kids in the house – this may also need to include adults!)
  3. A kitchen item
  4. Footwear – could be slippers, sandals, runners, boots, etc.
  5. A piece of clothing (1 per household member)
  6. An app from your phone or tablet
  7. A bathroom item (could be old shampoo, a hair product you didn’t like but still keep, make up, etc.)
  8. A seasonal item
  9. An item from the garage
  10. A broken item (that for some reason you are still keeping!)

Who knows, you may not be able to stop at one item for each of the top 10 categories!

Challenge yourself to a 10 day, top 10 challenge – either get rid of 10 items in each category over 10 days, OR do the top 10 every day for 10 days straight! You pick your challenge!

If you REALLY want to boost your decluttering efforts, do it every day that you are home over the summer!!

Your home will feel a little lighter in September!
