Get excited about your morning!

January is all about decluttering your mental chaos, so what better way to get ahead on that than making your morning routine amazing, right?!

Start by doing something that is SO simple, you just can’t ever mess it up!

Kick your day off by doing something you LOVE!

Start your morning routine with 10 minutes of your favourite activity! Get out of bed with excitement by planning to do something first thing in the morning that gets you fired up!

When your alarm goes off, do something that actually makes you say to yourself, “Yes! It’s morning!! Time for…….[enter favourite activity!]” It could be crafting, doing the crossword puzzle, reading a book, it could be browsing through Pinterest, it could even be playing a video game, or watching 10 minutes of a favourite show (as long as you can stop it when the timer goes off!) Keep it to 10 minutes. After those 10 minutes are up, go back to whatever it is your morning routine is. But use those first 10 minutes to really add recharging and energizing to your day!

You will have a huge swing in energy through the morning, and you might even find yourself to be more productive through the day because you have already done something huge and amazing for yourself!

I know, it’s only 10 minutes. But it’s enough to give you something to look forward to when getting out of bed in the morning. It also still gives you time to do the rest of your normal morning routine without waking up hours earlier!

Now you don’t have to hate that morning alarm! Rejoice that it’s going off so that you can get on to doing the things you love to do!
