The secret to making your life better is…

The secret to making your life better is… to do the things you really don’t want to do!

I know, it sounds kind of unfair when you think about it. It all comes down to prioritizing the work that you’re procrastinating!

There is actually freedom to experience by doing the things you have been putting off. Doing those things can create magic in your life!

If you feel the weight of some task holding you back or some area of your house holding you back from enjoying it, focus on that area! The more you put it off, the more it will stress you out, and the more you will feel like you have failed or that you just can’t get ahead.

This same idea can be applied to any part of your life. If you are working or even a student and have a big project that you know you should get started on, make time to get started on it. Carve off time to work on it bit by bit, and that way, it will never hold you back or weigh you down. It will never become that thing in the back of your mind that stresses you out.

The more you hold off doing or starting something, no matter how small, the bigger of a stressor that thing becomes. Whether you build up the stress because you are putting it off or build up the stress because you’re making it bigger in your mind than it is in real life, it still prevents you from being productive and happy in other areas of your life.

Just get on with it, and do it!

Just like in one of my previous posts ‘plan 4’ today, doing the hardest thing on your list is sometimes the most freeing thing you can do. Despite any dishes in the sink or the dirty toilet. It’s better to do the thing you are least wanting to do or most putting off.

If it’s too big of a project to get done in a day, then put bits of time into it as often as you can. Make that hard project the priority on your to do list until you feel the weight come off your shoulders!

Set yourself free and truly make your life better in all ways, simply by first doing the things you don’t want to do. It’s mind over matter!

Thanks for coming home!
