The only way to achieve goals is to stay consistent!

Ok, so it may not be the most exciting idea nor the most robust with it’s fun and entertainment value – but if you really want to achieve your goals and reach amazing heights you never thought possible… you must stay consistent!

It’s hard to stay consistent, though!

You need to remind yourself to actually stay consistent and work hard to achieve what you want. You need to remind yourself that in the end, it is worth it! You need to remind yourself that a bit of work now means an easier tomorrow!

Not everyone needs the cheerleading push, but if you do, you can get there by cheering for yourself!

Affirmations or mantras can be huge in helping you stay on target!

Set a goal, figure out what affirmations or mantras you can say to yourself that will help you visualize your final step, and repeat it to yourself, like, a thousand times per day!! Repeat it in the morning. Say it to yourself after the kids go to school. Repeat it over and over on your way home from wherever you may be. Remind yourself out loud as you clear the table and tidy from dinner. Say it to yourself in your head as you kiss the kids goodnight!

Keep it in the front of your mind!

The more you keep it fresh in your thoughts through the day, the easier it becomes to do tiny tasks that get you closer to your goal. If you don’t remind yourself all the time of what you are trying to achieve, you can forget how important the little tasks are. Every task, no matter how small, if it’s done well, can have a huge impact!

Reminding yourself of your goal only five times a day is not enough! You need to remind yourself almost constantly!!

I am proud of the impact I am making!
I expect me to work hard to get what I want!
I take action to achieve my goals!
I am proud of the new me I am becoming!
I complete the tasks I said I would!
I will not procrastinate on things I can do now!
Today, I am closer to my goal than yesterday!
I am committed to achieving my dreams!
I rejoice in the daily win!
I am dedicated to my own success!
Every single step counts!

The only way to see real progress and reach your goals is by taking action. To convince your brain to actually take action, you need to convince it that you have to! You will not always want to! Once your brain knows you HAVE to take action, and you tell it to take action often enough, your body will just do it!

Every time you walk by something undone, you may do a small part of it. Every time you walk by something that’s not in its place, you may grab something and take it with you so you can put it away. No matter what your goals are, your brain needs convincing before your body will move.

But as you start to embrace the movement and embrace the small consistent effort – your dreams will be conquered!

If you don’t jive with my affirmations above, write down your own or search for ideas! I know you can find some that will help you stay focused and consistent enough to reach your goals!
