Ever try to find ways to add time to your life? Wish you could make time for whatever it is you keep putting off? Feel like there is never enough time in the day?
You may want to consider waking up a bit earlier!
A while ago, I was reading a book called The 4% Fix, by Karma Brown. It is a great book about how you might add 1-hour to every day of your life. The basis being that 4% of your day is just one hour, so why not get up one hour earlier than you already do. The author’s recommendation is to wake up at 5:00am.
I have always been an early riser, more of a 5:30 or 6:00 am riser, but 5:00 am seemed somewhat reasonable. So I was committed to giving it a try. Any which way to get some ME time was much overdue!! (*a global pandemic has that sort of affect on…well…anyone!)
The real focus of the book is figuring out the “what do you do so early in the morning” part. It’s not about work, it’s not even about doing anything that you HAVE to do. It’s all about the fun! The things you really care about! Use the time to do those things you truly wish you had more time to do!
I was telling a friend of mine all about the book and the idea of waking up a bit earlier – even if it means going to bed a bit earlier. She was telling me about a book club that she is a part of, and wondered if I would like to participate!
It was such a fun experience and I am excited to share it with all of you!
